Direct Disperse inks from Mutoh
Mutoh Europe has developed a water-based Direct Disperse four-colour ink set specifically for its direct-to-fabric Viper TX and Viper TX Extreme series printers. The fast drying inks, said to offer an excellent colour gamut and nozzle stability, allow direct printing onto polyester fabric without the need for washing and are aimed at the volume production of soft signage and double-sided flags.
The Direct Disperse inks, an addition to Mutoh’s existing water-based dye sublimation inks?(transfer paper printing), are suited to outdoor use. Similar to dye sublimation inks, the new inks will require fixation via a heat source. They are available in one litre bottles and are compatible with Mutoh’s continuous ink supply system for the Viper/Viper Extreme and Viper TX Extreme series printers, called BIS. ??
Mutoh’s BIS has been developed for speed-intensive volume oriented users requiring a high end, high volume ink delivery and refill system offering long unattended printing capabilities.?Three models are available – a four-bottle system and two eight-bottle systems. Each BIS ink?bottle can hold up to 4.3 litres and can be refilled whilst printing.?
