Dublin Airport Fire service Mountain Challenge
Dublin’s Apt Signs has created a stunning 1.2m x 5m full-colour banner for the Dublin Airport Fire Service mountain challenge which starts on 1 July. The aim of the venture is to climb the 18 highest mountains in Ireland in 62 hours for the Beaumont Hospital Foundation. The banner will be mounted on the side of one the fire services largest appliances to highlight the mountain challenge as it passes through various parts of the country for the duration of the challenge climb.
APT Signs is a manufacturer of vehicle graphics, safety signs, roll-up/pop-up displays, large-format full colour graphics and banners. David Barnes, MD of the company explained: “A friend of mine works for Dublin Airport fire service and last year they took up a challenge to climb six peaks in 72 hours. This year the challenge is to climb the 18 highest mountains in 62 hours and I was asked to produce a banner which would help catch the public’s imagination to maximise donations for Beaumont Hospital Foundation. The vinyl graphic was printed on the company’s Mutoh 1604 Valuejet using new BioMG inks supplied by Magco Plastics.”
