Dublin City Council saves money using Triangle inks
Dublin City Council has converted one of its LFP printers, a Roland DG SolJet Pro 11, to run on Triangle Inx Digital Mild Solvent inks supplied by Trimwel.
As the country’s single largest city council Dublin City Council saw a 6.8% reduction in its Local Government Fund allocation last year from The Department of the Environment, Heritage and Local Government and has implemented cost cutting measures across its entire range of activities to meet this new financial environment. The move by the LFP section of its print department to convert to non OEM inks was based on the realisation that significant cost savings could be made by this switchover. However, a key criterion in implementing any changeover was the ability of any new ink system to deliver the same print quality as the original Roland inks.
