Durst has brought out a solvent free metallic silver UV ink for digital label printing decoration applications. The announcement comes as the company launched the Tau 330 UV inkjet label press at Labelexpo in Chicago.
The newly designed metallic silver UV ink can be used with the new Tau 330, but also with previous Tau models such as the Tau 150-8C. The UV metallic silver ink in combination with the Tau UV inkjet label presses allows printing speeds of between 20 – 30 linear metres (65 – 95 feet) per minute that go well beyond current available and established digital printing systems.
