Dynasigns create a sporting theme for Supermac’s in Galway
Dynasigns, a Galway-based sign company, has completed a digital wallpaper project for Ireland’s indigenous fast food chain Supermac’s.The theme involved producing and installing a sporting theme inside Supermac’s Headford’s outlet near Galway city.
Hughie Sweeney, who founded the company, said: “We started off a little while ago by producing the outside signage for this outlet which we manufacture completely in house. Basically it’s 1.2 m aluminium which is curved around perspex lettering. The aluminium is sprayed with the pantone colour required in a high gloss finish and then we apply Avery translucent vinyl to the letters to give the sign its colour which is then lit up. For the digital wallpaper we used Metamark MD-5, which is a high performance grade polymeric calendared self-adhesive vinyl for printers using solvent inks and is ideal for using on flat or slightly curved surfaces. Last year we completed work on Supermac’s Eyre Square outlet which led to this job and based on the quality of our work so far I am confident that Supermac’s will use us more and more for both interior and exterior work on its nationwide outlets as
Dynasigns has also produced other signage solutions for Supermac’s such as vehicle wraps.”
Dynasigns strength appears to be its ability to produce bespoke solutions for its clients based on the fact that it has the ability to design, fabricate, print and weld in-house.
“If somebody hasn’t a design for a shop front for example and comes to us we will create a design for them including the main outside shop front signage and the interior, such as digital wallpaper,” added Sweeney. “We fabricate everything in house as well as making neon so add that to our design and LFP print capability and Dynasigns has the capacity to handle most signage jobs out there.”
