Epson demonstrates multipurpose flexibility of Stylus Pro printers
Epson is showcasing the flexibility of its Epson Stylus Pro inkjet printers for small to medium commercial print firms and in-plant facilities at Ipex.
The Epson Stylus Pro is a powerhouse of a printer capable of producing colour-accurate proofs, vibrant display graphics for POS and exhibition applications as well as CTP plates for offset printing.
The 10-colour inkjet Epson Stylus Pro printer models most suitable for professional print applications are the B2 Stylus Pro 4880, the B1 Stylus Pro 7900 and the B0 Stylus Pro 9900. These printers range in price from ?2,000 to ?7,000 making them ideal devices for most commercial or in-plant print operations.
Using the Epson UltraChrome family of inks, proofs and graphics are being produced at Ipex on a range of Epson media including film, poster board, proofing, photo, matte and fine art in a choice of matte, semi-gloss and gloss finishes. The production of high-resolution CTP plates is also being demonstrated using the latest Technova PoliJet inkjet polyester plate material.
The Epson Stylus Pro printer range enable print firms to extend their business into the demanding packaging proofing and flexographic markets, and with the help of the Epson SpectroProofer, the Stylus Pro 7900 and Stylus Pro 9900 models are suitable for remote proofing applications.
