EskoArtwork to show why software is king at Sign and Digital UK 2011

EskoArtwork aims to use Sign and Digital UK to demonstrate how its digital finishing solutions maximise printer productivity and how key software development is to that end. At the show, EskoArtwork will show how potential savings can be realised using its i-cut Suite, the newly expanded collection of pre-production software targeted at users of large-format digital printers and/or digital finishing systems.

“Software is king,” said Paul Bates, EskoArtwork’s regional business manager UK and Eire. “There’s no point investing in a highly productive digital printer if you don’t have the right software in place to keep it running. Waiting for jobs to be set up eats into capacity, productivity and, in the end, profitability.”

Also on show will be ArtiosCAD 7.6, the latest version of EskoArtwork’s structural design software for all corrugated, folding cartons and POP displays. It features extended connectivity to other applications and import file formats, new reference POP display standards, automatic registration between graphics and structure, and improved 3D rendering. 

With Automation Engine 10 the company will show how operations can improve automation of repetitive tasks. Meanwhile the integrated solution for PDF creation and production, Odystar, will demonstrate its range of prepress tools, from preflight, certification and automated document correction, through to advanced trapping, imposition, proofing, printing and screening to plate.
