The physical Printeriors feature has been abolished for Fespa Global 2023 (23-26 May, Munich).
Fespa had announced at the end of last year that its long running Printeriors interior décor feature would be incorporated within the new Personalisation Experience this year, with individualised interior spaces curated by Fespa textile ambassador Debbie McKeegan. The decision has since been taken to run Printeriors as an online showcase that will be continually accessible via the Fespa website.
“It’s still in early stages, but the digital Printeriors showcase will be live by Fespa Global as an online resource for everyone in the interiors community,” said McKeegan, who will continue to work with illustrator Jasper Goodall on the project.
She said the intention is for the site to be divided into ten zones (eg retail interiors, outdoor living etc), each with a drop down menu looking at various related sub-topics (eg flooring, window treatments).
“The new Printeriors will recap on ideas and trends across the interiors markets in terms of industry trends and technologies to keep everyone informed of opportunities in what is a growing market,” said McKeegan.
It has also been confirmed that there will not be any conference programme within the Sustainability Spotlight at Fespa Global 2023 despite that being a big part of the feature at the 2022 expo and a key topic of discussion within the large-format digital print space.
