Fujifilm Sericol names disappears in UK
As of 1 April the UK sales activities of Fujifilm Sericol UK will be fully integrated with the Graphic Systems division of Fujifilm UK and the Sericol name will no longer be used. The move is the final stage of transition to the Fujifilm brand, and the company said it will expedite growth of the wide-format inkjet part of the business.
Amid plans for its presence at the various trade shows this spring, Fujifilm has announced that it will use Fespa 2010 to demonstrate its newly launched Pro-File, a colour control system combining Fujifilm Sericol screen inks, Fujifilm Acuity digital printers and ColorGate software, that allows printers to deliver consistent colour output across the screen and inkjet processes. At Fespa it will be demonstrated with the Acuity Advance HS.
