Get hands on with new vehicle wrap course
Designers, producers, and applicators of self-adhesive graphics are being offered hands-on vehicle wrapping training courses by Avery Dennison Graphics and Reflective Products Division. Held at the company’s Graphics Centre in Alphen aan den Rijn, The Netherlands, the events will be led by experts and cover both basic and advanced professional vehicle wrapping techniques.
One-day vehicle wrapping workshops suitable for beginners will take place on 27 August, 1 October, and 5 November. Advanced vehicle wrapping workshops, lasting two days, are scheduled for 3-4 June, 9-10 September, 21-22 October, and 25-26 November. ??
Course content (in greater depth for the advanced workshops) broadly covers: choice of material, surface cleaning and preparation, positioning of decals, various application techniques on three-dimensional surfaces (including deep corrugations), tips and tricks, controlling image distortion, cutting techniques, and working on details. All workshop participants receive an Avery Graphics toolbelt equipped with professional application tools – squeegees, application glove, cutters and spare blades, and magnets.
