Glenn Trout Signs makes a Zumo
A high profile interior makeover for a Zumo Juice bar outlet in the heart of Dublin’s Temple Bar district has been handled by Glenn Trout Signs. The project involved producing and installing extensive wall and floor graphics to very strict criteria.
Glenn Trout Signs, based in Dublin 15, is best known for vehicle graphics, shopfront signage, hoarding/billboards, full colour digital printing, and PVC / mesh banners. The company lists amongst its client base many well known names such as Ladbrokes, Debenhams, Spar, Four Star Pizza, Blanchardstown Shopping Centre, Dublin Port Tunnel, Fingal County Council, Guinness’s, FAI, Umbro, Ford,Croke Park and Zumo Juice Bars.
Manager Warren Fee takes up the story: “The project involved producing a wall wrap and floor graphics for this particular downtown Zumo Juice bar unit,” he said. “These were produced on a Mutoh Rockhopper 11 using eco solvent inks. The wrap was printed onto a Mactac 5829 vinyl with a matt over laminate Mactac Permacolor, Permagard 7284 which has a fire rating because this was a particular requirement specified by the designer. For the floor graphics Mactac 7822 was used and over laminated with Permaflex 6300 which has anti-slip properties and is usually requested by architects for insurance reasons.”
Fee added that whilst Glenn Trout Signs is known in the trade for vehicle graphics/wraps and shop front lettering/facia the company has also developed a significant business in interior signage, particularly floor graphics and wall wraps/posters.
“The company produces for example all of Debenhams floor and poster requirments,” he added. “In today’s market environment this end of the signage sector seems to be holding up well.”
