It was a concept product at Drupa 2008, but at Ipex 2010 Screen will be demonstrating the reality of Equiosnet, its universal workflow environment which encompasses a range of software solutions and partnerships to provide a single, highly optimised and automated workflow driving multiple CTP and Print on Demand (POD) devices.
Handling everything from job quote and incoming digital files through to finishing and delivery, Equiosnet provides a solution for companies that want the flexibility to handle both volume print production and personalised printing with added-value variable data.
It has also been designed to give production personnel real flexibility with the ability to react easily to changes, even last-minute alterations to the number of copies required, whatever the output device used.
On the Screen stand C290, Hall 10, visitors will see a single source file being processed and output to a variety of Screen systems, including the Truepress 344 digital press, Truepress Jet520 web, Truepress Jet SX B2 sheet-fed digital printing systems, PlateRite CTP devices and the wide-format Truepress Jet 2500UV.
