If so, have you thought of applying to the government’s Growth Programme, which opens on Monday 4 November for expressions of interest from rural companies/start-ups wanting financial help to purchase state-of-art equipment and machinery to grow their business (or open up opportunities for tourism!).
There’s currently £35m worth of government funding up for grabs – which could be increased to £50m if there are enough applications meeting the expectations. The minimum grant currently stands at £20,000 and you can apply up until 16 February 2020.
