Hornet DPS creates a Buzz!
A recently established digital print company, Hornet Digital Print Services (DPS) has installed a 64in HP Designjet 9000s printer.
Based in Rathfarnaham, Dublin 16, the company was established by John Nathan who has over 25 years experience in the digital print business, initially in pre-press and scanning. It was set up to service small to medium sized designers and marketing companies with small and large-format print solutions as well as colour management consulting and high-resolution scanning.
The HP Designjet 9000s, supplied by the Reprocentre, was purchased to allow Hornet DPS produce a varied array of product. “Because the company is new it was important to be able to print most jobs like roll-ups, pop-up displays, indoor and outdoor posters, duratran PVC banners, that type of thing,” said Nathan. “Since Hornet DPS will primarily be dealing with small marketing companies the HP Designjet 9000s allows the company to produce high quality prints using HP low-solvent inks at high speed. The aim of Hornet DPS is to offer clients flexibility because this is not a nine to five operation so if people need something in the evening or over a weekend then we will be able to offer that service to them.”
