Hunky Dory days for Sign System
Sign System based in Navan, Co. Meath, has completed a major signage re-vamp for Navan Rugby Club on behalf of Largo Foods, distributor of the Hunky Dory crisp brand in Ireland and sponsor of the club. The work entailed a complete change of image on all the external signs around the ground as well as signage inside the stands.
“The Hunky Dory job required the production of 15 full-colour Dibond composite aluminium prints and 18 others mounted on Corriboard,” said managing director Bob Buchanan. “The aluminium prints were for the entrance and exits as well as pitch-side whilst the other signs were positioned in the stands. The sizes varied – 6 x 1.2m, 4.8 x 1.2m and 4.8 x .9m – and the graphics were printed on D-Tec polymeric, grey back vinyl with a D-Tec polymeric laminate to suit.”
Sign System, established nearly 40 years ago, is a specialist sign making company and although its main concentration is on property systems, vechicle wraps and shop facias, its aim is to offer creativity at all times according to Buchanan. “With companies working to tight budgets these days it’s vital to create exciting custom solutions which are cost effective for clients,” he said.
