Ink and Media announces new partnership
Relatively new company Ink and Media, set up by father and son, Terry and Gareth Winders, has announced a partnership with Digidelta to supply its Decal range of vinyl and films in particular the new ecological and solvent free Think Green adhesives range.
The deal is designed to further develop Ink and Media’s eco friendly range of competitively priced products for the marketplace. Located in Glasnevin, Dublin 11, the company’s primary focus up to now has been the supply of ink and media to the general large and wide-format printing market.
Managing director of Ink and Media, Gareth Winders, said: “We spotted a gap in the market for a number of things. One was for an economically priced eco friendly range of vinyl/adhesives and the second gap was service! By that I mean viewing and treating customers as partners in an enterprise not as a commodity or an inconvenience to daily business. So having knowledge of the digital/screen and retail sectors we quickly identified that by incorporating some of the systems and methods used by the supply base of each market the new company could develop a more efficient and customer focused service. Both of us felt we could bring some fresh thinking to the trade so we searched for new products to bring to the market and the result is that Ink and Media has just been appointed sole distributor in Ireland for the Digidelta range.”
Terry Winders added: “Digidelta produces decal digital print vinyl, excellent PVC films, for high quality solvent, and UV printing, all at hugely competitive prices. However the most interesting thing for us is that the newly launched decal adhesive Think Green which is the latest addition of adhesives, produced in Portugal, is totally ecological, and solvent free. The market is crying out for non solvent substrates and Think Green will allow us to capitalise on this requirement.”
Digidelta uses BASF UV technology in the production of a varied range of, solvent-free, adhesives for vinyl, lamination, textile adhesives, double side-adhesive, self-adhesive and thermo adhesives.
