William Smith had added a Kitchen Application Training course to its Training Academy offering, due to what it says has been an escalation in demand for kitchen wraps over the last few years.
With small class sizes and three trainers on hand to assist, there will be time allocated for one-to-one guidance. The practical side of the course, which makes up the bulk of training, begins with basic application techniques including flat panels and the cut-and-fold technique, before moving on to more challenging applications such as how to deal with shaker doors or complex recessed handles.
Also covered will be business development training, how to market to a new client base, how to understand and sell the product effectively, managing customer expectations, how to budget and price jobs, and a look at tools and accessories.
