Elitron’s Kombo TAV V2 automatic cutting system has won the EDP award for ‘best wide format cutting solution’.
The EDP technical committee recognised the Kombo TAV V2 as the most compact, floor to floor, fully automatic cutting solution for bespoke packaging and displays.
The system can load and unload stacks of up to 1555mm, and can be loaded and unloaded from the front, inline, or from the side with sheets up to 3200 x 2200mm. Two independent gantries and two cutting heads work simultaneously over the working area. Their workload is assigned automatically by Elitron’s Twin Cut software and each cutting head comes with up to five tools.
