Magco emphasises traceability and consistency
Magco Plastics and Supplies has introduced a new range of own branded products as well as expanding its branded portfolio of substrates for the sign, print and display industry in Ireland. The company has also begun to offer ecologically friendly materials as well as expanding both its premises and showrooms.
Magco MD David Magliozzi said: “Despite the seemingly relentless ‘race to the bottom’ attitude that is prevalent in our market today, many clients do not want to compete in that space. However, to cater for the budget minded customer, Magco has now introduced its own branded range of products which include monomeric print media and laminates, cotton canvas and one way vision under the Magjet brand and substrates such as foam PVC and aluminium composite under the Magcel and Magbond names. These have all been carefully selected from low cost factories but packed with a unique identification designed to say to the market ‘if you must buy budget materials, at least you know what you are buying and have a level of traceability and consistency’.”
Magco has also introduced a number of new branded products from Grafityp. These include, metallic sparkle cast laminates for vehicle wraps, digitally printable sandblast effect films for window graphics as well as a photo luminescent laminate to make prints glow in the dark.
With the growing interest in ecologically friendly signmaking and wide format printing the company has also new products to offer the marketplace.
“With the growing interest in ecologically friendly signmaking and wide-format printing Magco now stocks non-PVC signmaking films, print media and laminates from Grafityp under the G.E.F label (Grafityp Ecological films),”added Magliozzi. “This range is growing steadily to reflect the continuing demand from corporate end users such as Tesco to provide alternatives to PVC and solvents where possible.”
