Make it Happen joins Fespa UK

Make it Happen has joined Fespa UK. Following the move the association will feature details about the sign consultancy’s Sustainability Bootcamp on its Responsible Print website, an online resource to help members futureproof their businesses.

The move complements Make it Happen’s existing alliance with the International Sign Association (ISA UK), of which founder Sam Armstrong is currently president. She said: “At Make it Happen, we have delivered our Signage Bootcamp and On the Frontline training to over 3000 delegates – many of which have large-format print activities within their businesses. The move opens up further opportunities to learn, co-create and develop solutions to industry challenges that ultimately benefit those working in the signage, print and display sectors. We are delighted to have had such a warm welcome from the Fespa team and look forward to exciting times ahead.”

Fespa UK managing director Suzi Ward and creative coordinator Jay Burfield recently attended one of the consultancy’s one-day Signage Bootcamps, to glimpse first-hand what Fespa members might expect from the day. “It was great to get a better understanding of the challenges that sign makers face when undertaking projects. The day was really beneficial, and we think our members could take a lot of knowledge away from the course,” said Ward.

She added: “We are thrilled to be welcoming Make it Happen to our community. The work we have been doing with our waste management accreditation sits nicely alongside their sustainability workshops meaning together we can help to guide printers and sign makers throughout the UK, how to become more responsible with their waste and choice of materials, without it costing them the earth.”
