Meteor Inkjet has received the Queen’s Award for Enterprise, one of 201 UK organisations to have done so in what is the scheme’s 53rd year.
Clive Ayling, MD at Meteor – a supplier of inkjet electronics, software, tools and services and wholly-owned subsidiary of Global Graphics – said of the achievement: “It is a strong endorsement of the work of our talented and committed team. As a British company operating globally, we are extremely proud of our success in supplying exceptional products and services to the industrial inkjet industry.”
Cambridge-based Meteor – which works with printhead manufacturers, including Fujifilm Dimatix, Konica Minolta, Kyocera, Ricoh, Seiko Instruments, Toshiba TEC and Xaar – will celebrate its accolade during a royal reception at Buckingham Palace in the summer.
