Mimaki receives five prestigious SGIA awards
At the recent SGIA Expo in the US, Mimaki scooped five awards. The Mimaki JFX-1631plus and its smaller sister machine, the JFX-1615plus both received separate awards for ‘Best grand-format roll-to-roll UV-cured ink’ and ‘Best flatbed rigid with white ink UV below $200K’ respectively. The Mimaki JV33-160 and its bigger brother, the 2.6m wide JV33-260, both received awards for ‘Best poster size solvent or latex printer’ and ‘Best grand-format roll-to-roll solvent or latex ink’ respectively. The final award,  ‘Digital inks – best digital ink – flexible UV inks for backlit/display’, went to the LF-200 inkset that runs on the LED cure UV machines.Â
