At Fespa 2015 Mutoh announced that it will bring out the ValueJet 1624X later in the year as a successor to the VJ-1624.
The 64in machine will be aimed at those handling 2,000 – 3,000m2/yr. Top speed (at 720 x 720) will be 20.5m2/hr (5m2/hr in High Quality – 720 x 1440).
DropMater technology will ‘read’ adjustment patters required for accurate drop placement in relation to the printer’s three possible head heights.
Mutoh used Fespa to show its ValueJet 1938WX 75in high speed double-head sublimation printer with speeds up to 93m2/hr.
