Mutoh Europe has replaced the ValueJet 1624X and ValueJet 1638X with the XpertJet 1641SR and XpertJet 1682SR, both 64in wide roll-fed printers.
Developed and manufactured in Japan for long-term applications, the XpertJet 1641SR is a single head 4-colour model while the XpertJet 1682SR is a dual staggered head model for 2×4-colour or 7-colour (CMYK, Lc, Lm, Lk) set-up using a new inkset.

The printers incorporate DropMaster 2 for automatic adjustment of jet fire timings depending on the thickness of the media loaded, and have automated bi-directional alignment via an integrated colour sensor. There is a newly developed roll-off system and a 40kg motorised winder system. Both machines have a multi-language intuitive OLED display, and there’s remote printer monitoring from smartphone or tablet.
