Neschen gets Fogra certification on LFP CA materials

Following Fogra tests on the solvoprint nolite 175 CA media Neschen has achieved a Validation Print Standard in Large Format Printing. Under controlled conditions, the PET composite film showed itself to be comparable to offset prints according to the Fogra 39 process standard.

“Thanks to Fogra, we now have it set out in black and white: with this CA quality, we have for the first time achieved a Validation Print Standard in Large Format Printing,” said Friedrich Drinkuth, senior product manager at Neschen AG. “The uniform CA coating of our digital print media therefore delivers the basis for a large step towards standardisation in the LFP sector.”  

Solvoprint nolite 175 CA is a PET composite film, approximately 175 µm thick and developed for eco-solvent and solvent inks though it can also be printed with latex and UV-hardening inks. Neschen said it offers good scratch resistance, is light-proof and has a high level of dimensional stability. With CA (Color Alliance) inkjet coating, this product is representative of all the CA media in the Neschen product range.
