Kyocera has unveiled its next generation inkjet printheads, specially designed to deliver high-speed, high-quality printing on paper, cardboard, plastic, fabric, and other building materials. A 600dpi model will be available from April, with others in this new KJ4 EX series set to follow.
Developments include an integrated piezo actuator to replace multiple smaller actuators to enable more consistent image quality, optimised ink channels and ejection consistency to enable a wider range of applications, and improved durability.
