New photo inkjet print media from Mitsubishi

Mitsubishi HiTec Paper has introduced jetscript IG 2577 and IL 2576 inkjet photo media for applications in the large-format and desktop printing area. They are printable with all common dye-, pigmented- and UltraChrome (K3) inks.

Both grades are microporous, resin coated inkjet photo papers with a metallic iridescent surface effect. Jetscript IG 2577 has a high gloss surface while jetscript IL 2576 imposes with a special lustre pearlescent finish. 

Mitsubishi said that due to a special ink absorption layer, even high ink amounts dry rapidly and the printouts are water- and smear-resistant after drying. Both grades come as sheets (A4, A3, A3+), rolls (17, 24, 36, 42, 44in) and on a jumbo roll (2,200m).
