The team behind the UK Graphic Awards (UKGA) has announced a competition specifically for the UK and Ireland sign sector. Entry to the new he Sign Awards will open on 1 November and the presentation ceremony will take place on Wednesday 22 March 2023, during next the Sign and Digital UK exhibition at the NEC.
Dan Tyler, founder of the UK Graphic Awards, said: “It’s been four years since the signage industry has had the opportunity to acknowledge and recognise its incredible achievements at an event like this. We have seen how important this is with the great success of the UK Graphic Awards and we wanted to bring this experience and excitement back to the sign industry.”
Prizes will be awarded across a range of categories and disciplines – the full list will be announced soon. Entries will be open to all sign-makers in UK and Ireland. An independent jury will judge all the entries and the organisers will follow the same blind, anonymised process undertaken for the UKGA.
“Several of our brilliant UKGA sponsors and partners have already signed up to be involved with this new event as we aim to cover every key element of the sign-making industry,” said Tyler.
