At Drupa German company IST Metz and UK subsidiary Integration Technology are showing a new UV LED curing system targeted at the wide-format graphics and direct-to-product digital industrial markets.
With its lamp units mounted end to end, the new MidZero can be scaled to any length with peak intensity of over 4W/cm².
Also, for single pass industrial inter-colour curing or high speed pinning where lamp heads do not need to be mounted directly next to a print head, the system offers both digital or analogue control as standard. Its RS485 control is capable of driving up to two 240mm versions, greatly reducing the cabling needed.
