Online print kit auction site sets up shop
An online print kit auctioning site called Printlots.co.uk has begun trading. The site, founded by Stuart Bate and Duncan Lovett, will trade 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and 52 weeks a year.
Printers can sell and buy equipment via the site, and let the industry know what they are looking for. A reverse auction option acts like a tender for dealers when they are ready to invest.
Bate said: “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure. This is an exciting opportunity for the industry to get together and start moving some of that unwanted stock and equipment.”
Lovett added: “ Printlots will also help if you need finance or you need a trainer where we will be able to provide contacts quickly and efficiently.”
The system is compatible with credit cards and Paypal.
