    Onlineprinters wins European business accolade

    Onlineprinters has won ‘The Customer and Market Engagement Award’ (€150m+ turnover) category of the European Business Awards.

    The group – to which UK-based Solopress belongs – stood out against several thousand well-known companies and convinced the judges with its European market concept, business model, customer centricity and its sustainability efforts in production.

    Roland Keppler, CEO of Onlineprinters, said: “We are delighted to receive this award at the European level. After all, it was the European market that has helped us develop our potential so effectively. Over the course of 15 years, we have established 18 country shops and supplied custom printed products to customers in many European countries.”

    The online print provider, which operates in Germany as diedruckerei.de, now employs more than 1,500 and produced over 3.2bn printed products last year. It offers more than 1,500 print products, including large-format advertising systems, and has 1,000,000 customers in 30 European countries.

    The EBA is a European cross-industry business competition that distinguishes companies for entrepreneurial excellence. Performance is evaluated based on different criteria across 18 categories, such as corporate success, innovation and social responsibility. Onlineprinters scored excellent results in the ‘Customer and Market Engagement Award’ with first-class customer experiences, highly qualified employees, state-of-the-art technology and continuous performance improvement. More than 40 customer service agents, many of them multilingual, communicate with Onlineprinters customers in 11 languages to assure a high level of service quality.

    120,000 companies from 33 countries entered the 2019 European Business Awards competition in 18 categories.
