Onyx Graphics has today announced global availability of its Onyx 19 wide-format Rip and print workflow software.
Introducing the Spark Engine and DeviceLink+, Onyx 19 has been developed to reach beyond traditional wide-format print applications into soft-signage and textile.
The Spark Engine is said to bring Rip speed increases up to 400% and printer performance increases up to 200%.
DeviceLink+ is a system of colour management controls to achieve consistent colour across an entire site without the need to read in new swatches or use a colour measurement device.
Onyx 19 also introduces new step and repeat functionality, new dot pattern technology for smooth output on all wide-format print applications, adds nest trim box features for weeding and finishing print and cut jobs, and provides the ability to build iccMax v5 profiles.
