Perspex Distribution (PDL) has completed the installation of three Schelling FK6 330 industrial beam saws optimised to work with its UK manufactured substrate range, including Perspex, Cast Acrylic, Alupanel Aluminium Composite, Palsun Polycarbonate and Palight PVC Foam.
The company now has ten industrial beam saws spread across its five UK branches – the new machines having been installed over a three-month period at the Blackburn, Chelmsford and Tamworth sites.
“This significant investment in the latest industrial machinery across our group maintains an optimum service to our customers. Our ten saws mean we can allocate a huge 240 hours’ worth of substrate cutting each day,” said Keith Piggott, PDL MD.
