Premier Paper has been doing its bit for charity by sponsoring a weekend woodland camping experience with Wilder Things UK, in conjunction with The Woodland Trust, for children affected by the 1986 nuclear disaster at Chernobyl.
The paper merchant was supporting Longridge Print and its chosen charity, Friends of Chernobyl’s Children, which provides youngsters with opportunity to take part in outdoor activities that cannot enjoy back home. It funds yearly visits to the UK for children from the most desperate circumstances in the contaminated area of Belarus. For a month each year, the children receive recuperative healthcare, English lessons, and the care from UK host families.
