For the first time, the print, paper and packaging industries will be represented at the Skills Show at the NEC, 19 -21 November.
Proskills is teaming up with TheMagicTouch and the National Apprenticeship Service to showcase possible careers and apprenticeships by running a ‘Have A Go At Printing’ opportunity for some of the expected 75,000 students.
Jim Nicol and the TheMagicTouch team are donating their time and print equipment to show students what printing is all about and to let them experience the wonders of print first hand.
The Proskills’ PrintIt! team will be on hand throughout the show to discuss careers and apprenticeships with students, teachers and parents and will be issuing copies of the newly
published Apprenticeship Guide, developed in association with the BPIF, the Printing Charity and National Apprenticeship Service.
