Print Solutions brings out recession busting product range
Print Solutions, the new entity borne out of D O’Sullivan earlier this year, has just launched its new website coinciding with the introduction of a range of what it terms “recession busting” products for wide-format digital printers, screen printers and sign makers.”
The company, located in Dublin 12, promotes itself as a distinctly independent, privately owned Irish company. A key element of the new product portfolio has been the sourcing of products from south East Asia to complement the existing extensive portfolio of products from major Western suppliers as sales director Ian Scouler explained: “Our objective is to offer customers a comprehensive quality product portfolio at extremely competitive prices. The current economic climate is forcing businesses to scrutinise every single cost because while quality is still important the buzz-word out there is price! We now have a range of display products from roll-ups, pop-ups, click frames, edge-lit light boxes, A boards and wind talkers which clients can buy – from the economic low end right up to a deluxe brand. “Other recession busting products include banner materials, laminated and coated front-lit and back-lit films as well as a range of monomeric self-adhesive vinyls, contra vision, reflective materials and composite aluminium suitable for flatbed printing. Another development that is going well for us is third party inks and our profiling service. We offer a wide range of inks in litre bottles and cartridges that are suitable for many platforms including Seiko, HP, Mimaki, Roland and Mutoh – and in the superwide sector we can offer both full solvent and UV third party inks for HP Scitex, Jeti, and Vutec. Value for money items is very important in to-days market and Print Solutions is doing everything in its power to ensure that this message holds true.” The new website highlights the fact the Recession Busters is just one part of the overall range of products available from Print Solutions. Well known names such as Avery Dennison, Oracal, 3P, QPC are also widely stocked as well as a number of innovative new products such as Akyprint. “Akyprint is an interesting product in that it is a fluted polypropylene sheet with a circular constructed centre as opposed to the conventional H flute,” continued Scouler. “Because of its very high rigidity it is highly suitable for printing all recto-verso applications. Akyprint can be used indoors and outdoors, and its construction makes it ideal for display boxes and stand building. So while we are determined to help our customers with their costs Print Solutions will always offer a complete range of quality sign and digital consumables to the marketplace as well as new and innovative products.”
