Re-Imagine capture the spirit of Leinster rugby
Re-Imagine, based in Celbridge, Co Kildare has just completed a very prestigious “backdrop” print job which was used for the first Magners league game in the new Aviva stadium in Ballsbridge, Dublin a few weeks ago. Originally set up by Martin Everard and his wife six years ago to design and supply architectural way finding signage, Re-Imagine has over the last fifteen months significantly broadened its signage solutions portfolio to include sign and display. The backdrops were designed to depict Leinster players in action during various rugby matches.
Managing Director, Martin Everard explained;
“An event marketing company, CSL Associates, employed Re-Imagine to produce five backdrops for this event,” said Everard. “The Magners League is an annual rugby union competition involving professional sides from Ireland, Italy, Scotland and Wales and the first fixture involved two Irish sides, Leinster against Munster. The graphics were used in one of the hospitality suites in the stadium as backdrops behind guest speakers.”
The backdrops comprised of a range of Leinster rugby images printed on matt vinyl and mounted on 10 mm Xanita honeycomb board which were 2.6 meters high by 2.4 meters wide, all free standing.
“This substrate is unique in that it offers the same properties as rigid boards such as MDF, but at one-sixth of the weight,” added Everard. ”It’s made from low-density fibre boards from recycled Kraft waste, and it offers environmentally-conscious users a recyclable and VOC-Free alternative to MDF and particleboard. The new Aviva stadium has a very low carbon footprint policy so this was perfect for that requirement.”
