Roland DG UK closes Dublin office
Roland DG UK has announced the closure of its office in Dublin after a recent review of operations in Ireland. The move follows the appointment last year of two Dublin-based Premium Partners which Roland says now means that it no longer requires a Dublin based showroom to service the Irish market.
Jerry Davies, managing director, Roland DG (UK) said: “Roland DG’s success in Ireland has been led by two Premium Partners, Sign an Digital and PFE Limited. As well established and knowledgeable businesses, they capably represent Roland DG in the sign and graphics and commercial print markets across Ireland. Both partners offer comprehensive demonstration suites that carry the full spectrum of Roland machines and therefore the Roland showroom in Dublin has closed and John Parle, Roland DG’s Business Manager for Ireland has left the business. All Roland DG care service and support for existing customers remains unaffected by these changes.”
Roland has chosen strong companies to continue to represent its interests here and hopefully this decision doesn’t have a negative effect on a currently strong brand perception in the market.
