Roland to focus on textiles in FuturePrint talks

Roland DG will participate in two panel sessions at the FuturePrint Virtual Summit next week to highlight emerging trends in interior design and textiles.

At 12pm on Tuesday 13 October, Paul Willems, head of product management and business development at Roland DG EMEA, will participate in a panel discussion entitled ‘Printed Interior Decor: An Untapped Opportunity’.  He will explain that the category’s explosive growth, strong margins and comparative resilience to Covid-19 make it an attractive diversification opportunity for printers.

In his session at 2.30pm on Wednesday 14 October, Joe Wigzell, academy manager, Roland DG EMEA, will address the need to pivot from offshore to nearshore and homeshore textile production in the talk ‘Fashion and Garment Textile: Is It Time To Bring It Home?’.

Stephen Davis, EMEA marketing director at Roland DG, said: “In the last 12 to 18 months, we’ve invested heavily in creating innovative products that answer specific unmet needs from printers operating in the interior design and textile sectors. We’re looking forward to using our platform at FuturePrint Virtual Summit to provide insights and guidance on how these two categories are developing, as well as spotlighting the EJ-640 Deco and XT-640S-DTG that debuted earlier this year.”
