Spectrum Digital Services launches the Seiko ColorPainter V-64s in Ireland
It’s a few years since the name Seiko was much used in Ireland but at Sign & Digital Print Ireland 2009 a relatively new company Spectrum Digital Services officially launched the ColorPainter V-64s from Seiko I Infotech Inc (SII).
The new 64in mild-solvent printer is designed for outdoor mid-volume large-format digital printing with a newly developed printhead that allows the device to achieve printing speeds up to 16 m2/h in normal printing mode.

Seiko, after a brief but very successful relationship with HP has taken control of its most popular printer and re-launched it in three widths – 64in, 74in and 104in. Combine this with its competitively priced ink and you have an unbeatable package.”
With three devices already installed and a further three pending the future look promising for Spectrum Digital Services which was only formed in January 2009 by Declan Douglas, Declan McCabe and John Sweeney to offer small and medium enterprises sales, service and support on a wide range of capital equipment. All three partners have a background as service engineers.
