Superior Creative has bought a second Inca Onset. The new Onset S40i will support an S40 installed two years ago at the company’s premises in Melksham, Wiltshire.
Richard Blueitt, commercial and operations director, said: “The increasing demands for wide-format applications prompted us to extend our investments in this area.” He continues: “We have been extremely happy with the quality and productivity offered by the Inca Onset S40, so investing in a second and similar engine was a natural progression for us.”
The company will run the Onset S40i with Fujifilm Uvijet OC inks because as Blueitt explained: “We have been using the Uvijet OZ inks for the last few years and they have given us greater flexibility to print on different substrates, together with expanding our business opportunities on larger volume projects.” He also adds: “The most recent Fujifilm Uvijet OC inks, which are ideal for the indoor applications particularly requested by ourclients, will add value to our market proposition.“
The retail sector is a key target for Superior Creative, which prints predominantly on corrugated and fluted board to produce POP and displays. Blueitt said: “The Onset S40 has allowed us to achieve greater efficiency and cost savings, and the investment in a new Onset S40i will pay off just as equally. 2013 was a great year for our company and we are sure that 2014 will not disappoint us. We have built a new 800m2 extension to accommodate a dedicated hand-finishing department, which reinforces our capability to meet the demands of the retail sector. We will also be looking into a revamp of our litho division which can only turn into yet another positive step for our business.“
