Walsh Graphics revamps
After nearly nine months detailed work and research Walsh Graphics is to bring out a new product brochure during October exclusively aimed at the sign and display market. At the same time it will start to distribute products in the north of Ireland through sister company Alpha Graphics. It has also earmarked mid November to have its new, dedicated website operational.
Located in Cork, Walsh Graphics has grown rapidly over the last four years to become one of the largest suppliers of products to the sign and display market in Ireland. Michael Walsh, who established the company 18 years ago, said: “The first thing to say is that the new 200 page brochure has quite a comprehensive range of specialised products for the sign market. A lot of the products are supplied by Hexis which produces a huge range of products and has some very innovative signage solutions such as its new cast vinyl carbon-fibre film which features high flexibility and conformability, and is designed for heavily curved surfaces such as full vehicle wraps. However that’s just one section. There are a lot more offerings including a large selection of display products such as pavement stands, banners, roll-ups etc.”
Although Walsh Graphics originally concentrated on the litho market supplying inks, press chemistry and other associated items it was an approach four years ago by Hexis UK to distribute its products in Ireland that led the company into the sign and display market which today accounts for 50 per cent of the company’s business.
Walsh added: “The investment in the new brochure, the website – which will include an on line purchasing facility – and also the move into Northern Ireland is a clear statement that this company has plans to be one of the top suppliers to the sign industry throughout the whole of Ireland within the next 12 – 18 months.”
